Ask any Quinnipiac student a memory during their tenure at the school and most will point back to their freshman experience at SigEp’s Hall Wars. Created in 2005, Hall Wars is a daylong event on Quinnipiac’s luscious quad that pits each freshman residence hall against one another in a battle of strength and wits, with an array of sports played to decide who will be champion. Throughout the day, students compete in everything from volleyball and basketball to dodgeball and tug-of-war. The final event is an all-out relay race across Quinnipiac’s quad.
The seventh annual Hall Wars was a philanthropic success, garnering over $10,000 for the Aids Project New Haven. With over three quarters of Quinnipiac’s freshman participating, the event is considered one of the University’s best.
